Simplifying Microservice Management with an Enterprise Service Mesh
January 1, 1970 @ 12:00 am
Building microservices is easy, operating a microservice architecture is hard. For many companies, tools like OpenShift (with Kubernetes and Docker) have solved deployments, but they haven’t solved runtime. This is where the service mesh comes in. A service mesh’s robust communication fabric enables secure communication, health monitoring, service discovery, intelligent load balancing and end-to-end integration. A service mesh makes it simple to monitor, manage and control microservice communication.
Join Arctiq, Red Hat, and Aspen Mesh (an F5 innovation) as we explore the concepts of microservices and how an enterprise service mesh can increase availability and observability when testing and deploying these containerized applications. This event will provide technical demonstrations with Aspen Mesh and Red Hat OpenShift to address:
- Microservices and container platform capabilities
- Intelligent load balancing and service health monitoring
- Securing service communications
- Providing service testing visibility for increased quality in releases
This event is intended for application architects, software developers, container platform engineers, and application release teams interested in adding control and visibility to a microservice platform. The demos will layer Aspen Mesh tooling on top of an existing OpenShift Container Platform to provide powerful insights and control over a sample application based on a microservices architecture.
